ASF Foundation
Introduction
Airports Security Force Foundation (ASF Foundation) was established on 17th Apr 2014 for the welfare and rehabilitation of ASF beneficiaries i.e. serving, retired, dependents, wounded, and shuhadas families. It was established vide Statutory Regulatory Order (SRO) 15 (KE), 2014. The main objective of ASF Foundation is to invest funds in profitable schemes, projects and any income therefrom to be utilized for collective benefit of the beneficiaries. Main policy decisions/ budget approvals of ASF Foundation are made under overall supervision of board of directors (BoD) Chaired by the Secretary Ministry of Defence (MoD) as Chairman and Director General Airports Security Force as Vice Chairman /MD. The Secretariat of the Foundation is headed by the Chief Executive Officer.
Main Functions
- Welfare and rehabilitation of ASF beneficiaries i.e. serving, retired, dependents, wounded, and shuhadas families.
- To invest funds of the Foundation in welfare schemes, profit generation ventures and utilize them for collective benefits of its beneficiaries i.e ASF and General Public.
- To set up educational/vocational institutions and training centers for various disciplines.
- To setup medical facilities for the beneficiaries, special persons, general public and maternity homes.
- To rehabilitate, re-employ, adjust beneficiaries preferably in the Foundation and its various projects, schemes and subsidiary setups.
- To generate any other activities which are conducive for the attainment of the above aims and objectives for carrying out of welfare schemes.
